Scholarships for vocational training in Europe

In cooperation with many national and European partners, GEB organises projects for training in Europe. Most of these projects are funded by the European Commission under the program “Erasmus +” .

Projects are available to those who fall into one of the following three categories:

Area 1: Those undertaking vocational or academic training
Area 2: Those in further education (e.g. Masters students)
Area 3: Those who have finished further study, either academic or vocational, and wish to gain work experience abroad.

All GEB projects with their cooperation partners described here are designed so that part of the scholarships are also awarded to persons outside the applicant organization. Individual applications from individuals or from schools that would like to start with just a few scholarships are possible!

In general, it is possible to apply for a scholarship as a so-called “free mover”. This means that the scholarship is paid to the scholarship holders and they take care of the entire stay abroad (travel, accommodation, internship etc.). The following project descriptions only describe the way by which projects are carried out with our foreign partners, who look after them on-site.

Attention: people enrolled at universities or attending general education schools are not eligible for this program! Exceptions are students who are in so-called dual training and have a registered at the relevant chamber training contract.

These offers are valid only for people who live and are registered in Germany Individual applications are possible!

Attention: Persons who do not receive funding through Erasmus + can still receive the same support from the GEB and receiving institutions abroad as self-payers. More information is available here.
