We are pleased to announce the call for applications for participating. Within this project you can learn how to create a youth parliament, how to run it and how to cooperate with youth parliaments in other countries. Therefore you will be introduced into the founding process. Moreover you can deepen your skills in achieving political goals. You learn how to conduct an interview with participants and politicians, how to write to decision makers your political goals and take part in “Youth debates”. During a meeting in the Bavarian State Chancellery you get the chance to present your proposals for cooperation between Bavaria and Ukraine. Additionally there are planned visits to youth parliaments, socially committed associations and political institutions and diverse parties.
Programme
Working language is English. There will be 12 participants from each country. To apply please submit the registration form.
Your background
It would be advantageous if you are already a member of Youth Parliament or similar governmental body, if you plan to create a youth parliament. In September 2018 you should be between 18 and 27 years old.
Write us if you need to be excused from school or university.
Participation fees
180 € for participants from Germany; 40 € for participants from Ukraine
In fees are included: accommodation, food and flights. The travel expenses from your hometown to the airport are not taken over. There may be additional charges for participants from Germany, if your departing airport is not Munich. Expenses on the free day are not included.
This project is applied for funds of the Federal Foreign Office and the Bavarian State Chancellery. We expect that the funds will be granted at the end of April.
