Together with national and European partner organisations, GEB organises stays in Germany for individual or groups of international participants wishing to gain experience in the field of general and vocational training. These projects are mostly funded Erasmus + and allow participants from abroad to gain ‘practical experience’ in Germany.
In March, six vocational students from Toulouse, France will complete their internship in administration and sales in Berlin. They will support German-French institutions and companies and get an overview of professional life in Germany.
Ten young vocational students from Rathmines College in Dublin, Ireland have taken the opportunity to have a professional experience abroad in Germany. They complete their first two-week internship abroad in various companies and institutions in the areas of administration, business and IT.
In February, six young educators from Opole, Poland were given the opportunity to do an internship in the German-Polish kindergartens in Berlin. They learn new concepts and support the children in their bilingualism.
In the first half of this year, vocational school teachers from Lower Silesia, Poland are guests at the GEB.
