Together with national and European partner organisations, GEB organises stays in Germany for individual or groups of international participants wishing to gain experience in the field of general and vocational training. These projects are mostly funded Erasmus + and allow participants from abroad to gain ‘practical experience’ in Germany.
After completing their training, the young people have the opportunity to take part in a job coatching that includes a three-month internship. The aim of the project is to make the transition to work easier for the participants and to improve their employability.
Young health and nursing graduates from Nový Jičín, Czech Republic, are doing their first long-term internship in Berlin. Thanks to the long stay of three months, they improve their language skills so much that they are then able to work both in the Czech Republic and in Germany.
As every year, students from the Jablonec nad Nisou Business Academy conduct their internships in Berlin instead of in the Czech Republic.
As part of the cooperation between the Society for European Education and two Polish vocational schools for medical technology, care and health, pupils from the areas of orthopedic technology, occupational therapy and geriatric care are coming to Berlin
