Professional Interships for italian graduates from the areas "Art, Culture, Environment, Tourism and Education" (part II)
In the frame of the Life Long Learning Programme Leonardo da Vinci GEB received 7 participants from Italy. They will do a one-month language course and a two-month internship at NGOs and enterprises in the fields of art, culture, tourism, environment, integration and education. During their stay abroad they will have the possibility to improve their language skills. Through living and working with local people they are given the possibility to widen their social and intercultural competences and gain an insight into the European labour market.

Students without frontiers – 4-wöchige Praktika für Schüler aus Novy Jicin, Tschechische Republik
Die Gesellschaft für Europabildung empfängt im Mai 2011 Schüler aus Novy Jicin. Im Rahmen des Leonardo da Vinci Programms für Teilnehmer in der Erstausbildung werden sie im Bereich Business-Assistenz und Verwaltung ein 4-wöchiges berufliches Praktikum in Berlin absolvieren.

New Business Competences – 4-wöchige Praktika für Schüler aus dem Verwaltungsbereich aus Kralupy (Prag)
Im Mai 2011 empfängt die Gesellschaft für Europabildung in Berlin und London 20 Schüler aus dem Berufsgymnasium Kralupy (Tschechische Republik). Die Teilnehmer erhalten Leonardo da Vinci Stipendien und werden in Unternehmen und Organisationen im Bereich Verwaltung und Administration ein 4-wöchiges Praktikum absolvieren. Somit wird ihnen ermöglicht, erste Berufserfahrungen im Ausland zu sammeln sowie ihre Englisch -und Deutschkenntnisse zu verbessern.

Vocational Orientation and Vocational Training: The German Experience
Fourteen teachers and trainers from different vocational schools in Greece visited vocational education institutions in Berlin, met the German trainers and visited selected projects and lessons of the participating institutions. The aim was to discover examples of good practice and learn practical experiences, approaches and ideas from Germany and bring them back to Greece. With its partners abroad GEB organizes such educational trips for people working in vocational training in Berlin and other European countries.

Pilot project of the EU Program "Europe for Citizens"
Together with our partner organization ZNI from Maribor (Slovenia) and supported by the European Commission Innovationsproject, GEB coordinates the implementation of a mobility within the program Citizenship.
The project is about civic commitment in order to provide citizens the opportunity to visit Europe's other initiatives and projects and share their experiences with people from other countries.
