GEB received a group of Slovakian students in the framework of Leonardo da Vinci Programme of the European Commission

Gesellschaft für Europabildung has received  20 students from the technical college Stankoviansky Akademická in April 2008. The scholars had the opportunity of participating in a training in different German companies located in Berlin. Besides, through a language course and a complete cultural programme, the students were able to improve their German language skills.

GEB and the Slovakian school have together prepared the development of the project in order to manage the most added values for all the participants. Our experience says that the best way of learning a profession is the practical instruction (applied theory); the same happens with the learning of a language: the project “ Acquisition of languages and technical skills” will gave the scholars the opportunity of learning not only practical apprenticeship but also the knowledge how to use the German language in the working ambit.
