Preparing Slovak students to actively participating in European labour market
A group of ten scholars of the Slovak technical school Samuel Stankoviansky (Banska Stiavnica) arrived in Berlin in October of 2007. They participated in a trainingin the fields of biotechnology and pharmacology, chemical informatics, conservation and restoration, environmental technology, design and marketing. The project was realised in the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci Program of the European Commission.
The technical school of Samuel Stankoviansky is an institution with a long tradition. The initial chemical school was founded as a state institution in 1921. By the time, the school has developed different training ways in the areas of chimestry and arts. At the moment the Samuel Stankoviansky is one of the most popular schools in its region.
