Enterprise Practice for Building Students

Placement Program for Students from Economy and Technology School, Kehtna, Estonia

Six students from the Economy and Technology School of Kethna (Estonia) carried out a training period in the field of building from 2nd of April until 29th of June 2007. The objectives of the internship were:

- Giving an opportunity to students from Estonia to have a working experience in German companies.
- Improving their skills of the German and English languages.
- Increasing their knowledge about the German history and society through the cultural programme developed by GEB.

All the scholars received a grant from the European Commission for their stay in Berlin which covered their accommodations and transports expenses. Besides, each of the participants in the working period received a certificate of the training time in Berlin.
Tought the difficulties of integration of some of the participants, and the sometimes difficult communication between trainees and companies, all the Estonian students agreed about the good working experience in Germany and about the improvement of their CV which will help them in the future career.
