Preparation meeting of "We can do it! III"

One representative of each participating organization met in Berlin to prepare the youth exchange

For the third consecutive time in the summer of 2007, Gesellschaft für Europabildung will organise the integrative youth exchange programme “We can do it!”. The meeting will deal with the social integration of young people through various workshops (photo, theatre, painting, sports…) and address topics related to citizenship and European integration. All the workshops will lead to a final presentation at the end of the project.

For the organization of such an exchange are needed several meetings and preparation visits to gain confidence between the partners and ensure the coordination between them. A first meeting took place last January in Weoclaw, Poland. However, it was impossible for some of the associations to be present there. For this reason, GEB decided to organize another preparation visit, this time in Berlin, between the 16th and the 20th of May.

A preparation visit especially important because the participating group so big is and because the agreements between the partners before such a exchange had to be ensured with time enough. The visit, in which one representative of each organisation took part, let discuss about the different workshop that will be made during the exchange, about the special needs of some participants and other aspects of the third edition of “We can do it!”.
