Vocational training programme for students of the secondary school “Humanitas” in Litvinov, Czech Republic

Ten students from the secondary school Humanitas of Litvinov, Czech Republic, carried out a training period in Berlin in the discipline of the conservation of the environment and the care of the land . Between the 25th February and 25th March 2007, the participants had the opportunity of doing a practice time in different institutions in Berlin and Brandenburg.

As usually, the participants in the project had the possibility of knowing more about the city of Berlin and the German culture: during the first week of their stay in the capital of Germany, Gesellschaft für Europabilgung offered them a full cultural programme. They young grant holders visited several museums of Berlin, had the opportunity to know in depth the social and political history of the city and the country, and enjoyed some activities of leisure time.

After the working and learning experience, the Czech scholar showed their pleasure of having participated in the project. Some days after the final of their stay in Berlin, GEB received a letter which shows this satisfaction: “We are already again at the school, what a pity! We are looking forward to coming back to Berlin. Thank you very much again for everything you did for us: the four weeks were really a beautiful time”.
