Leonardo da Vinci in Poland: experts exchange in Lublin

European mobility project to integrate the labour and the further education in the perspectives about the educative connexion between Poland and Germany

Short description:

GEB will lead a Contact Making Seminar in Lublin (Poland) with the participation of ten actors of the labour education and the further training

from Berlin and Branderburg. Vocational trainers, instructors, placement officers and occupational counsellors will have the opportunity of having an

overview of the e ducational system and the labour market in Poland.

The seminar will be the preparation of a mobility project with young employees and unemployed persons: they will receive a EU-grant which will let them carry out a labour experience in the Polish city.

Content:

Berlin and Branderburg, as German regions with weak social and labour structures, have an especially high rate of unemployment. The development

of new perspectives and strategies, and a starker orientation to the European labour market are aimed to mitigate this situation.

Poland, as neighbour country with a growing economy, could open new perspectives  and possibilities  to the German workers, unemployed young people and the scholars, whose labour future could be linked with the possibilities which the international market offers.

Our Polish partner, Ad Astra, will organize the seminar with the collaboration of local and national representatives in the economical, political and educative fields, and the preparation of several presentations, visits and excursions.

Objectives:

The main objective of our project is aimed at people, who deal with the management and the advice in the labour market and the further training.

The participants should clear ambits of this field to facilitate the interdisciplinary communication and to reach a bigger diffusion of the seminars results.

The German labour market must be adapted to the European dimension. One of the conditions to reach this adaptation is

preparing the instructors and trainers to coach the students to deal with the reality of the more and more competitive European labour market.
