The title: YourWorkChanceInEurope - the high quality of qualifications and competence
The project “YourWorkChanceInEurope – the high quality of qualifications and competence” foresees the implementation of the first goal of the Leonardo da Vinci programme. This goal is to improve the vocational training system in order to enable young people to gain and increase the quality of their skills and competence corresponding with modern job market demands. The realization of this project meets the high priority of the programme which is “The development of European job market. The promoter of this project is “The First Professional Business School for Adults” in Nysa acting as a private vocational school but with the power of public school. The school is developing dynamically and has a very good reputation in the local community. We, the authorities of the school, confirm the full legal and financial responsibility of the implementation of this project. The partner, Gesellschaft für Europabildung e.V./ Association for European Training is an organization which acts as an agent finding places where our beneficiaries will undergo their training and takes full responsibility for the compatibility of the course with the promoter’s programme and the terms of the agreement. GEB is a non-profit organization, founded in 1989 by professors and students of university in Berlin “Freie Universitat”. At present it is an education, training and advisory centre. It searches partners in Europe, organizes trainings and exchanges within the context of European projects and actively participates in Leonardo da Vinci programme. After our visit in Berlin we obtained the preliminary list of travel offices and hotels where our beneficiaries will complete their training. They are students of our school (5 hotel workers and 5 travel office workers – altogether 10 adults). The aim of the project for the promoter is to improve the competence and skills of the beneficiaries so that the quality of vocational preparation of graduates and the adjustment of the present vocational training will suit European job market demands. Partners will obtain the possibility to share their experiences, to promote their firms, to get new partners in order to run common business enterprises. They will benefit from the help of the trainees during the holiday time when they need it most. Beneficiaries will obtain higher quality of their professional qualifications, will gain additional practical and language skills, will become familiar with the culture of the foreign country, different organisation work systems, standards of provided services, foreign employers and customers demands what will increase their chances to get a job on a local, domestic and international job market. The implementation of this project results from the development strategy of Nysa region which predicts the creation of new jobs in tourism because of the region’s natural values. The training of beneficiaries will take place in Berlin (Germany) in hotels and travel offices from 15th July to 15th October 2005. Foreign trainings will raise the value of the graduates on a job market, will increase their mobility and job culture. Beneficiaries will obtain new job experience, higher language competence and they will establish important interpersonal relationships.
